Working at Height Practical Demonstration
A huge thanks goes to Brendan Crealey and his team at Industry Training Services for opening their training centre to demonstrate working at height safety.

Attendees were able to choose whether to attend a am or pm sessions allowing them to fit it around their working day.
Well over 100 people from 60 organisations attended and were treated to 3 separate practical demonstrations covering ladder safety (inc domestic roof access) and commercial roof access, system scaffold and aluminium towers rescue from height, and boom and scissor lifts and safe use of harnesses.
Following an introduction to working at height and the regulations from Brendan the attendees split into three smaller groups to allow for more practical and interactive demonstrations.
Luckily the weather held throughout the day.
Since the event was free we asked for donations to the Southern Area Hospice Services and many put their ‘hand in their pockets’ to give to this worthy cause.

Photos included in this article give readers a flavour of the event.
