SAFETY GROUP WELCOMES NEW PATRON

The Executive Committee are delighted to announce that ARCO have agreed to be Safety Group Patrons for 2011.

ARCO had been Patron a number of years ago and it is great to see them again as Patron, reaffirming their commitment to the promotion of health and safety.

As the UK's leading expert in safety, they are currently celebrating their 125th Anniversary.

Established in 1884, the fourth generation family owned business originally made tennis balls for the Wimbledon tournament but is now regarded as the leading expert in workplace safety, with 40 branches across the UK and Ireland.

Peter McCrum , Branch Sales Manager heads up the ARCO Branch located in Mallusk and will be offered a position on the Executive Committee as Safety Group protocol dictates.

"We’re very happy to become Safety Group Patrons again" said Peter McCrum "and we see the association with the Safety Group not only as a natural fit for our organisation but with the Group being a voluntary organisation a good example of us showing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility."
