HSENI I Launch of Inspection Campaign on Legionella bacteria

In May 2025 HSENI announced the launch of an inspection campaign focusing on the management of Legionella bacteria in hot and cold-water systems across public sector employers. This campaign serves as a timely reminder tthat many employers in Northern Ireland, in both the public and the private sector have a legal obligation to manage legionella within their premises.
