BuildhealthNI Annual Conference - Booking Open

Bookings are now open for the BuildhealthNI Annual Conference – Thursday 13^th June, Dunsilly Hotel, Antrim – Morning Conference plus lunch and networking. Free event.

With a theme of “Construction – An industry for all abilities” BuildhealthNI aim to provide knowledge for those who work in health and safety, HR and management roles etc. to ensure their organisations are doing everything reasonably practicable to both engage and retain potential staff or current employees, who may require some additional support, in the local construction industry.

The conference aims to explore how employers can comply with reasonable adjustment requirements and take positive action to recruit more disabled people, or those who may require some adjustment, into the industry. Details on where employers can find help and assistance will be signposted and the conference will include presentations on area such as managing employees with diabetes and how to best help those with dyslexia will be covered.

Although aimed at the construction industry, the theme extends into all sectors of Northern Ireland industry, and bookings are welcomed from all sectors.
