£643 Raised at 2024 NISG Quiz Ballot
The charity ballot at our NISG 2024 Quiz was in aid of Hugh's House, Dublin, a vital charitiy which James McCann, Asbestos Consultant with Safety Advice Centre, used when his baby son Tommy was born at 24 weeks in the Coombe Hospital, Dublin. Tommy spent 5 months in hospital and Hugh's House provided James and his wife Laura with accommodation in Dublin for that time, ensuring they could be as close to Tommy as possible. James ran the Belfast 2024 Marathon to raise funds for Hugh's House and the £643 raised at the NISG Quiz was donated to Hugh's House via James's marathon giving page. We were delighted when James came along to our NISG Group Meeting in December 2024 to receive the presentation cheque on behalf of Hugh's House.
