As part of UK Airports Safety Week Belfast International Airport have invited us to discover what goes on behind the scenes and see how many people and disciplines interact and work together to ensure they operate in a safe environment.

You'll hear the 'Airside Operations','Air Traffic Control' & 'Emergemcy Fire fighting' teams talk about how they ensure all who use the airport stay safe.

The visit includes a demonstration of how the fire fighters put out a fire at their training rig.

This meeting is limited to 55 attendees. Booking is essential and is on a first come first served basis.

As you would expect security precautions at the airport are tight and to facilitate a visit we’ve had to make quite a few changes (not least of which is travelling by bus).
