April 2026 Group Webinar - An Insight into applying the HSE Management Standards in Practice at Ulster University
This Zoom session will outline Ulster University’s Work Well Programme and how the University has applied the HSE Management Standards as a structured, preventative approach to managing work‑related stress and improving wellbeing. It will share how UU uses staff feedback, data and collaborative action planning at local level to strengthen culture, support leaders, and drive sustainable change. The content will offer attendees an insight into how they can utilise this learning wiithin their own workplaces to improve employee wellbeing.
The session will cover:
- Why Ulster University adopted the HSE Management Standards approach
- How the six standards (Demands, Control, Support, Relationships, Role and Change) are applied in practice
- Using surveys and facilitated discussions to capture staff experience
- Turning wellbeing data into locally owned, meaningful action
- Key insights, learning and early impacts from implementing the approach
