Aidan Flynn (bio)

Aidan Flynn is Managing Director of Flynn, the leading local building and maintenance main contractor established by his father Maurice who remains a force within the business.  Flynn, based in Dunmurry, employ c250 local staff, turnover £20m p.a. mainly public sector work including for schools, hospitals, blue light services, housing and roads. The company has won numerous awards for its people development including Silver Investors in People, Irish News Awards and two consecutive CEF Awards for Health & Safety in 2016 and 2017.

Aidan is a former IoD Young Director of the Year and a board member of the Construction Employers Federation.  He has overseen the growth of the family business and its current strategy of diversifying the portfolio to include commercial, retail, development and export business.
