SEMINAR | The One Day Occupational Hygiene Survey
BOHS Event
NI Safety Group are delighted to be supporting this joint WHLG & BOHS Event.
Kelvin Williams will be speaking about a one day survey.
It typically allows about 8 hours to orientate to site, set out sampling equipment, assess exposures and adequacy of controls, find out what goes on when you're not there and decide what, if anything, needs to be done.
There may be serious consequences if the survey is not carried out well. It’s a tall order, and a high professional standard is required.
In the context of a discussion of professional standards this workshop seeks to identify and improve skills required to assess workplace exposures and improve control of risk on the basis of a one day site visit.
In his presenetation he'll cover:-
- A discussion of professional standards
- Research and preparation for a survey
- Conduct of site visit
- Handling small data sets and report preparation
- Case studies
Places are limited to 35 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Please do not just turn up as space at the venue is limited.
Booking is through the BOHS website
Those without a BOHS account will need to create one to register and this can be done at the link.
