Setting yearly objectives and how they fit into the business process from a Health & Safety perspective.

Often it can be difficult for the Health and Safety professional to line up objectives that fit within the organisation's overall objectives.

Terms like drive performance, improve capabilities etc sit much better in the likes of sales, marketing or accounting disciplines.

Michael is Safety Manager at CRH Europe Materials and has had responsibility for the implementation of the safety programme at CRH  operations in Europe and Asia since 2008 .

Michael holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry and postgraduate qualifications in Health & Safety , Energy Management , Environmental Engineering and Project Management.
