How competition and benchmarking can improve health and safety standards within a company/Safety Awards Entry workshop

George Lucas, Chairman of HSENI and former MD of Corus Steel (Ireland) plc, will outline the value benchmarking can bring to an organisation. He’ll also talk about the journey Corus went  on to  significantly improve their health and safety performance.

David Cooke, NISG committee member, will then demonstrate how entering the NISO/NISG 24th Annual Occupational Safety Awards is a great way to audit your safety management systems whilst benchmarking against similar organisations on an all Ireland basis.
