Northern Ireland Launch of Carbon Monoxide Week 2012.
Currently, the list of speakers includes:
Tony Brunton (CO Awareness) ‘Don't be the weak link'
Alasdair King (AK Services) ' CO safety in relation to flues in voids and commercial catering settings'
The story of a local victim poisoned by CO from a solid fuel burning appliance
Gis a Hug foundation
They will be highlighting the range of work that is being done to raise awareness of CO safety in Northern Ireland and the UK and highlighting areas that still need to be addressed such as issues relating to flues in voids (typically found in apartment blocks) and the correct locating of CO alarms to ensure their effectiveness.
